Beschreibung

In diesem Kartenspiel zur Heldenerschaffung treten 1-4 Spieler gegeneinander an, um die höchste Schicksalspunktzahl zu erreichen, während sie kooperieren, um den Widersacher zu besiegen. Wie im ursprünglichen Call To Adventure ist Epic Origins ein Tableau-Bauspiel, bei dem die Spieler Karten auswählen, Runen werfen und Herausforderungen überwinden, um Siegpunkte zu sammeln.

Für Spieler, die mit dem Call To Adventure-Spielsystem vertraut sind, führt Epic Origins ein hochfantastisches Thema ein, das von klassischen Dungeon-Crawling-RPGs inspiriert ist. Der neue Kartentyp Erbe bietet Optionen wie Elf, Halbling und Zwerg. Klassenkarten ermöglichen es dir, Erfahrung zu investieren, um deinen Charakter "aufzuleveln". Hochfantastische Themen und Herausforderungen finden sich in über 150 einzigartigen Karten des Spiels.

Dieses Spiel bietet auch überarbeitete Solo- und Co-Op-Spiele. Doppelseitige Widersacher bieten eine sich entwickelnde Herausforderung: Stelle dich am Ende von Akt II einem Widersacher niedrigerer Stufe und dann dem finalen Widersacher am Ende von Akt III. Im Kampagnenmodus können die Spieler neue Karten freischalten, indem sie jeden neuen Widersacher besiegen. Das Spiel integriert mehr Belohnungen für kooperatives Spiel, während es gleichzeitig individuelle Erfolge anregt.

Obwohl Punkte den Gewinner des Spiels bestimmen, ermutigt Call To Adventure zum Geschichtenerzählen am Ende des Spiels. Epic Origins enthält auch einen Leitfaden zur Umwandlung deines finalen Tableaus in einen Charakter der 5. Edition von D&D.
