Du musst nicht schneller sein als der Hai, nur schneller als deine Freunde! Get Bit! ist ein Kartenspiel, bei dem die Spieler darum kämpfen, am Leben zu bleiben, während die anderen vom Hai gefressen werden. Die Reihenfolge der Schwimmer wird bestimmt, indem gleichzeitig Karten verdeckt gespielt und dann die Werte aufgedeckt werden. Die Zahl auf der Karte jedes Spielers bestimmt die Position in der Reihe (höhere Zahlen vorne, niedrigere Zahlen hinten), jedoch bewegen sich bei Gleichständen keine. Der Schwimmer ganz hinten verliert ein Gliedmaß an den Hai und wird nach vorne in die Reihe geschleudert! Der Prozess wird wiederholt, bis nur noch zwei Schwimmer am Tisch bleiben. Wenn dies geschieht, gewinnt der Schwimmer an der Spitze der Reihe das Spiel!
