Do make sure to play this game with people who you share some sort of common frame of reference with, because that is essentially what this game is about. Oh, and scoring is really very, very optional, I find that players usually enjoy Dixit most as a way to just have fun together, without there being a competitive element.

Dixit - gioco di carte e di narrazione francese che mette al centro la narrazione. Un gioco sorprendente, conviviale e divertente da giocare in famiglia e con gli amici.
Trattenete il fiato! Le immagini sono state rivelate. Tutte hanno una cosa in comune: una frase enigmatica! Ora state attenti... solo una delle immagini e' la Chiave! Usate fiuto e intuizione per trovarla, evitando le trappole degli altri giocatori!
Ogni giocatore avra' una mano di carte (molto grandi) con bizzarre ma stupende illustrazioni. Il Narratore scegliera' segretamente una delle sue carte fornendone una breve (troppo breve!) descrizione composta di una frase, o un indizio. Gli altri giocatori selezioneranno segretamente quale delle loro carte possa identificarsi nella descrizione... e una volta che le carte vengono selezionate, ogni giocatore selezionera' segretamente quale sia la carta giusta!
All'interno troverete:
- 84 grandi carte illustrate;
- 1 plancia di gioco tridimensionale;
- 6 coniglietti in legno;
- 36 segnalini per le votazioni;
- 1 libretto delle regole.

Dixit is a storytelling card game for 3 to 6 players, ages 8 and up. Players use abstract, illustrated cards to give clues, and others try to guess the Storyteller’s card. Points are earned by making accurate guesses or by providing clues that others will guess. The game encourages creativity and interpretation.
Easily one of my favorite board games. There's always a table available, anyone can play, and it's always fun to see people's references. Lots of extra points for the WONDERFUL artwork on all the cards.
Current rating (around 7) is ridiculous. One of the most innovative games and huge inspiration for other designs. When it comes to board games, it is a work of art. And playing it is very engaging and fascinating.
