Beschreibung

Im Jahr 1592 zeigte der japanische Taikou (太閣) Toyotomi Hideyoshi seine große Ambition, China (Ming-Dynastie) zu erobern. Sein Vorschlag an Korea (Joseon-Dynastie), durch ihr Territorium zu marschieren, wurde abgelehnt, und so begann der Imjin-Krieg. In Far East War 1592 werden die Spieler in die Fraktionen Japan und China/Korea unterteilt, wobei jede Seite versucht, die Zielprovinzen ihrer Rivalen zu erobern. Die Spieler wechseln sich ab, um sich um das Aktionsrondell zu bewegen und verschiedene Aktionen wie Truppenrekrutierung, Zuweisung von Generälen, Marschieren von Armeen, Initiierung von Kämpfen usw. durchzuführen. Mit sorgfältiger Planung im Aktionsrondell, taktischer Bewegung und Zuweisung von Truppen und Generälen sowie ein wenig Glück beim Würfeln während der Kämpfe sollten die Spieler die lebendige Geschichte des Far East War wiederbeleben.
