Final Girl Starter Bundle

This is by far the finest solo game I have ever played and continuously scratches the itch for board gaming (when no one else wants to play a game). The theming on the Feature Films is A+ and matched only by the clever game design and mechanics. Even 4 series and over 20 feature films, the content only continues to get better. Add the companion app and weekly challenges on Discord / Reddit, and it is infinitely replayable. The community surrounding the game is also outstanding. Who knew playing a solo game with other people could be so much fun!

the new addiction, got me to watch a bunch of slasher films... an important game in my board game journey. the fact it's much easier to get content for this right now as compared to, say AHLCG, really makes it a big plus in the middle of 2026. AND it doesn't feel quite as expensive either...

By far one of the greatest solo games (or games in general) I have ever played. The core rules are simple enough to follow but the ever-expanding collection of interchangeable killers, locations, and girls leads to a seemingly infinite relatability. Also, the game is difficult to beat. That may seem like a drawback at first, but it creates real tension and make every victory feel earned and hard-fought.

Wow, this game blew me away. Winning is so damn satisfying, but losing is not frustrating. Creates an excellent atmosphere. When it comes to the "feature films" I think everyone will find their pick. I was afraid that dice luck might be a frustrating issue, but there are ways to mitigate bad luck to a certain degree. Obviously there is a big component of luck, but it did not put me off. I really dig the horror genre, so that probably helps. What I also find amazing is that the designer them-self is answering rule questions in the forums here.

Honestly, anyone who likes board gaming, solo gaming, and horror will undoubtedly enjoy this series. It is crafted both with immense detail and love of the genre, both of which do not go unnoticed by its dedicated fan base (which is another awesome perk of being a Final Girl fan). As someone who owns the complete series, I highly recommend jumping in with Camp Happy Trails and a core box, then grab whatever expansions fit your mood and tastes!
