Negli anni '80, una battaglia spietata infuriava in Sicilia, conosciuta come "La Grande Guerra di Mafia". Diverse famiglie mafiose si sfidavano per il predominio nel sud Italia. In La Famiglia: The Great Mafia War, i giocatori si affrontano in squadre (2 contro 2) per prendere il controllo della Sicilia, utilizzando sei diverse famiglie mafiose, ognuna con abilità speciali.
Il gioco si svolge in due fasi: nella fase di pianificazione, si sviluppano le abilità e si portano combattenti e ordini segreti sul tabellone. Nella fase di combattimento, questi ordini vengono rivelati ed eseguiti, utilizzando combattenti e bombe per dominare il maggior numero possibile di regioni. Il sistema di combattimento è semplice e innovativo, rendendo ogni scontro un emozionante duello psicologico. La squadra che riesce a combinare e coordinare meglio le proprie abilità avrà la possibilità di dominare la Sicilia.

Just a tremendous game. The mix of Euro and area control mechanics, the team components. I personally love finesse combat, as well.

Высокая сложность этой игры обманка чтобы набрать классы, на самом деле это как нарды с прокачкой планшета и ареаконтролем, сидите и по кайфу выбираете действия, потом по кайфу раскладываете приказы, потом по кайфу фаза сражений. Одна из лучших игр последних лет.

I feel like they went a little crazy with the colors, but that's really the only negative thing I can think of with this. It's so damn fun, and the theme is great! The game has it all: strategic planning and tactical adaptability, misdirection and bluffing, euro mechanics and exciting combats - all blended together in a game where everything that players do is intimately connected. Some have complained about the playtime, but if you push players along a bit, it isn't bad at all.
