I think that is is the most clever word game that I know. You don’t only have to give clues to find a location but also prepare the possibilities for the following rounds. The idea of giving a very context, with treasure to find, water, … that also gives tactical choices. My most played game in the last 3 years. Played with 2,3, 4 ans 5 with the same pleasure.

Landmarks is a word association game where the words are mostly generated by the players, leading to lots of replayability. The game plays very well with 2 players with little downtime. It works equally well with 3 and 4 players.

This pretty looks like the ultimate word game. As opposed to games using a set of predefined cards/words, the personal input here is so important that every game makes you play with very different words. The tactical puzzle aspect adds a smart layer to the gameplay.

Codename feel, but more flexible in many ways and improved mechanics - can play co-op (for 2+ players, good for smaller numbers) or teams (for at least 4 players), both of which are fun. Multiple plays so far with ample laughs and very evident (yet fun) frustration when you are trying to navigate a tricky layout. Tiniest issue (nothing major) - the felt board doesn't sit flat because of the folds unless it's ironed... at which point it can't fit back in the box without folding again. Doesn't impact game play in any way really.
