March Of The Ants Evolved Edition

I rated the original 10, so it only seems fitting that I would rate this one the same. Every change they made in this edition was an improvement without taking away from anything I liked about the original game. This is just about the shortest 4X game you can play- and it still has the tension of balancing between growth, defense and attack.

Picked the game up at Essen 25, and what a game i got!. Excellent 4x game where the conflicts and open world feel is so much greater than i expected. Just a fantastic game. I only wish there where more content. more cards and more types of ants etc. It seems like that is possible from the expansions. They are a must buy for me if they get available in Denmark.

I played it solo a couple of times and multiplayer twice. It was a great experience and the cards are very fun as there is a lot of variation. A very creative game and evolving your ant is so thematic and well blended into the gameplay. I played with the expansion module which adds more variety and the chamber cards are great that makes reactions more viable and gives every ant a little symmetry to start with. This game is right in my alley and I just want play more and more.

The ant theme and the 4x gameplay. I love both of these things, so I love this game.
