Mind the Lines

great drawing party game!!!! Creating something from nothing can be difficult to express, but this game presents a brilliant idea that removes that barrier and enhances creativity.

This game is so much fun! Nominated for Spiel des Jahres 2025, well deserved. It never fails to surprise me how different people draw different words using only the dotted lines. Has been a highlight in every group I played it with.

Idea bien creativa, divertida y chistosa, cuando puedo pensar 3 adjetivos positivos rápidamente para describir algo eso ya indica que estamos en la presencia de algo #god. Esto es como cuando ves imágenes en las lineas de una madera o una baldosa con con manchas aleatorias... al menos yo veia cosas. Le bajo un puntito porque, si bien la parte de dibujar y ver el dibujo de los demás es genial, quizás la resolución no es muy gratificante. Es muy fácil al principio porque hay muchas opciones agregadas después, siento que se puede mejorar con alguna opción "hardcore".

Great game! Works really well with everyone. You can play it with kids (who can read), you can use it for non-gamers and you can have fun with it as a filler for regular players. Don't be afraid of having to paint, everybody is able to play the game and have fun. Update 08 2026: With the expansion 18+, which I strongly recommend if you play krakel orakel with the right adult group, it´s a must have for me to have it in the collection as imo it´s top tier party game which is very flexible to use with regards to the target group, age, number of players, etc.

My Game of the Year for 2024. A charming and impressive co-operative drawing game. No need to worry if you can't draw - you have the handy excuse of being restricted by the dotted lines. But those restrictions can also breed some incredible creativity. It has never failed to be a hit and I've so far played it with 70 different people. I expect an English version will be available eventually (it would be a travesty if not) but until then, I've added a translation of the cards to the Files section. Alternatively, you could use Codenames words instead.
