Im Spiel Mottainai, einem Nachfolger der Glory to Rome-Reihe, nutzen Sie Ihre Karten für viele Zwecke. Jeder Spieler ist ein Acolyte in einem Tempel, der Aufgaben erfüllt, Materialien sammelt und Werke für Besucher verkauft oder abschließt. Jede Karte kann jede dieser drei Dinge sein.

Sie wählen Aufgaben, die es Ihnen ermöglichen, Aktionen auszuführen, wobei Sie im Hinterkopf behalten, dass andere Spieler Ihre Aufgabe in ihrem nächsten Zug nachverfolgen können. Cleveres Planen und Kombinieren der speziellen Fähigkeiten Ihrer Werke ist der Schlüssel, ebenso wie das Management der Materialien, die Sie verkaufen.
