Quoridor Pac-man

visualmente agradable, con algo de nostalgia a uno de mis juegos favoritos en la infancia

I discovered Quoridor with this game which meshes PERFECTLY with Pac Man. As a sucker for cool components, (Mechs vs Minions, HeroQuest etc,) I was impressed with the hefty wooden board as well as the cute Pac Man & ghost figurines! The additional Pac Man variant was fun, especially with the recently added "advanced variant" rules. As a Pac Man video game fan, with all its famous firsts, first video game character, first game with cut scenes, first "survival horror" game etc, it was also that early taste of the Japanese anime aesthetic for us in the West at a time when it was not nearly as common. (This was before Nintendo, M.U.S.C.L.E. "keshi" figures, & even Transformers!)

Solid little tile placement game! Games are fast, and require a lot of thought and strategy. At 2 people it quickly becomes a battle of the wits, at 3 and 4 players, it’s becomes chaos but it’s so much fun!

I take this one to work regularly to play, and is great fun. Very very easy to pick up, and everyone gets it instantly. Super fun witha competitive bunch, and the quick game time means you can play it a lot. Love it!

As a version of quoridor I enjoy it very much. Lovely themed pac man bits. The Pac man mode itself though seems utterly broken and impossible for the ghosts to win. The rating is for quoridor, not the side mode which was clearly not properly tested.
