Rome is being rebuilt and the people demand entertainment! Emperor Nero wishes for games to be held in the Colosseum, where gladiators will fight for the pleasure of the people. Players must build Ludus where gladiators from two different schools are trained, as well as arenas for them to practice. And then the gladiators are sent to fight in the Colosseum! New advisors with little loyalty have appeared, offering rewards to anyone willing to bribe them! This expansion for Roma & Alea introduces new building plan cards, new gods, public advisors, 1 new character, as well as the Colosseum and gladiators. Game contents: 1 shared, wipeable Colosseum game board (double-sided for 1 - 2 players or for 3 - 4 players), 1 wipeable character tableau, 3 public advisors, 1 neutral foreman figure, 1 gladiator die, 14 cards: 9 building plan cards (in 6 types), 2 god favor cards, 3 Nero bonus cards, 11 new Seneca solo cards, 10 character selection cards, 3 replacement cards for the base game, 1 rulebook.
