Smash Up: Pretty Pretty Smash Up

A must have, even if some factions are not that unique. Princesses: a 5-power only faction, they are always a treat to play Horses: Swarm faction focused on playing minions on the same base. Quite powerful Cats: They destry themselves to get benefits, but can also take control of opponent minions. One of those factions that must do two different things at the same time and often does not flow nicely Fairies: A versatile faction that can counter certain factions, not that fun but you'll be glad to have them available when needed

Own smash up? This one is a must! When you get too many smash up expansions you feel the gain of getting more expansions is marginal. This one however adds something very unique: it is so pretty that it can bring people to try the game just for its looks Smash up is gorgeous, Pretty pretty smash up is beautiful on top of that. The factions too add a real twist to the game; they're among my favorite First expansion everyone should buy! :)

Admittedly, I got this expansion to encourage some of my friends to play the game. Happy to say that it was a great addition to the game. The Kitten's ability to take over other player's minions is a gamechanger. The Mythical Horses are a personal favorite for its originality, and my friends have enjoyed the nuance of the other two factions as well. Don't be deceived by its cuteness!

Smash Up is one of my all time favorite games. I love the endless variability each new expansion ads. Love the silliness. Love figuring out how to make each randomly selected pair of decks work with each other. My only complaint is the cards are getting harder to read as my eyes age. I wish gamers designers would consider readability for older adults and vision impaired.
