Beschreibung

SPACE STATION PHOENIX ist ein Worker-Placement- und Ressourcenmanagementspiel, das in einer der möglichen Zukunft der Erde spielt. Die Spieler sind Vertreter des Galaktischen Rates, die zur Erde geschickt werden, um Raumstationen zu bauen, um die Menschheit zu beobachten und vielleicht mit ihr zu interagieren.

Die Spieler beginnen das Spiel mit neun Raumschiffen und einem Station-Hub. Diese Schiffe fungieren als Aktionsräume, die die Spieler nutzen, um Ressourcen zu sammeln, die nahegelegenen Planeten zu erkunden und ihre Stationen zu bauen. Die Züge sind schnell und unkompliziert; entweder eine Schiffsaktion ausführen oder Einkommen erhalten.

Viele Spiele beginnen damit, dass die Spieler mit einem kleinen Ressourcenmotor starten, den sie zu einem größeren ausbauen. In SPACE STATION PHOENIX beginnen die Spieler mit dem besten Produktionsmotor, den sie jemals haben werden, und zerlegen ihn Stück für Stück. Im Laufe des Spiels werden ihre Aktionen effizienter, aber die Anzahl der Möglichkeiten, diese Aktionen auszuführen, beginnt zu sinken.

SPACE STATION PHOENIX bietet auch eine hohe Wiederspielbarkeit mit Millionen von möglichen Startpositionen und Kombinationen von Stationsteilen.
