Undaunted Reinforcements Revised Edition

10 stars, after the first play with 4 players. Really refreshing to play such a fun game, with a low enough rules complexity that everyone is on board just after a few turns. There seems to be plenty of opportunity for repeated play to try out different types of strategies. And it's not very intellectual, it doesn't invite analysis, my mental landscape feels like it's about combat tactics during play. This contrasts it to most other games and contributes to its awesomeness.

The solo mode included in this expansion is simply genius, and undoubtedly sets a presentence for what a good solo bot is. This is a real hall of fame work. Yes, it's not perfect. The AI is a bit clunky sometimes, it's also not trivial to run, and sometimes it fails and goes in circles. But most of the times it works smoothly and is quite a challenge. Not only that: the designers clearly fine tuned the AI for each scenario, and invested a lot of love in it. This is a true masterpiece of solo design. Respect.

How can expansions get better than this? More components, more scenarios and an absolutely fantastic solo module make this an absolute must for any Undaunted aficionado.

Really a 9, like all my other Undaunted ratings, but giving it a 10 for EXCELLENT customer service when dealing with the issue of poor color matching. They fixed me up, and they followed through when shipping went awry.

la expansión ideal para los juegos undaunted (normandy y north africa) en ella encontraremos mas vehículos, unidades y mapas, además de agregar la posibilidad de jugar a 4 o en solitario, para mi (que juego principalmente en solitario) es esencial... además se pueden poner las 3 partes en esa caja lo cual es muy útil para ahorrar espacio y hacer menos lio a la hora de sacarlo a mesa.
