CASCADIA - ROLLING RIVERS

It's a wonderful game, that has many levels of complexity for choice of game mode. All of them enjoyable, and making it a game with lots of replay ability and varied target audience. One of my best kickstarter buys ever! :)

Nagy az újrajátszhatósága ennek a roll&write játéknak. Nekem jobban tetszik, mint az eredeti Cascadia. Egyszerűek a szabályok, és szinte tanítja magát a játék az egyre komplikáltabb környezetlapokkal. Ahogy nehezedik a játék, mindig több és több kombináció és bónusz közül lehet választani, azaz egyre többet kell agyalni.

Really enjoyed this especially MAP C, played with five people (used one pair of dice from rolling hills) and had a great time.

I've received it today (mid-January in France) and I'm deep into reading the rules. I hope it lives up to the standards of its big brother. The stuff doesn't break the bank. Beth Sobel didn't try too hard with the illustrations (digitised photos). At the same time, the game isn't very expensive either... Bonus: 4 different sheets to play with. We'll see! (I'll edit this post after a few games if I think of it!)

Both Cascadia roll and write games are equally amazing. The multiple boards changing up the game flow without changing the core rules works so well and the action economy+ bonus spaces is simple but very fun. I only knock it because it has no player interaction and some of the bonus spaces are either too good or genuinely bad. But at its core it's a fast and thinky RW with great art.
