Descriptif
Hero Realms è un gioco di carte di deckbuilding a tema fantasy basato sulle stesse meccaniche del titolo di grande successo Star Realms. Include un regolamento base per due giocatori, ma anche regole per giocare in diverse modalità multiplayer (Tutti-contro-Tutti, Hunter e Hydra). Ciascun giocatore inizia con un mazzetto di 10 carte personalizzato contenente Oro (per acquistare) e Armi (per combattere). Nel più classico stile dei giochi di deckbuilding, turno dopo turno si pescheranno mani di 5 carte dal mazzetto fino ad esaurirlo per poi rimescolarlo acquisendo in questo modo le carte acquistate presenti nella pila scarti. Al centro del tavolo sarà presente una zona Market da cui i giocatori potranno acquistare Campioni e Azioni che a loro volta genereranno Oro, oltre a potenti effetti e valori d'attacco per combattere direttamente contro l'avversario e i suoi Campioni. Quando i Punti Vita di quest'ultimo raggiungeranno lo 0, avrete vinto.

I play this with my 6 year old. Endless replay for both of us (we brought the full HR collection). For kids has so many benefits: - highly interactive for us both, we have a blast - great for their mental arithmetic, doing sums, figuring out combos and buffs and totalling up (they get to do sums for all players ;-) - figuring out synergies, applying tactics, strategic planning - reading, they have to read all the cards for both of us.

The game is our most played game by a mile. It's quick and fun. It's so easy to just pick up and get to the table. Some of the expansions are great others are meh. But the core game mode of head to head battle is fantastic.

My Wife's favorite Decbuilder. If you are getting into the world of deckbuilders, this is a good start. Basic and simple to follow.
