Amelia's Secret

Amelia’s Secret is an Escape Game in augmented reality (AR) with a free companion App. First, players have to place all game cards (AR markers) in their indicated locations: on a table, a wall, a piece of furniture. Using their smartphone or tablet, players scan each AR markers to display the room’s 3D objects. For example: a magical mirror or a sink full of blood. This game needs a free iOS/Android application to be played. (It’s simply called Amelia’s Secret.) Once you have placed the cards, all the game will be on the app. It is an escape game, that means players must resolve enigmas, use the right object at the right time, in the minimum amount of time possible before the mansion closes forever! There are 3 different levels: The tutorial: it only uses the “tuto marker”. It introduces augmented reality, how to play the game and the way to resolve enigmas. Level 1: this is the short round, and it uses every markers. It lasts about 20 minutes. The most important here is the overall mechanics, there are less riddles than in level 2 and the story stays backward. Level 2: This is the full game. It lasts about 60 minutes.
