Descriptif

Reforest est un jeu de cartes de complexité moyenne avec des éléments légers de construction de moteurs. Les joueurs s'affrontent pour faire croître l'écosystème forestier le plus sain en disposant un tableau synergique de plantes, chacune avec ses propres caractéristiques et capacités uniques.

À votre tour, vous choisirez l'une des deux actions :

Rassembler. Piochez deux cartes du paquet ou de la pépinière de plantes face visible.
Jouer une plante. Ajoutez une carte plante à votre tableau forestier dans l'une de ses rangées d'élévation autorisées (basse, moyenne ou haute élévation). Le coût des cartes est payé en défaussant d'autres plantes de votre main comme nutriments. Étant donné que l'espace est limité, des plantes plus grandes peuvent être cultivées à la place des espèces pionnières à un coût réduit.
Chaque plante introduite vous rapporte des points et contribue à un écosystème croissant d'aptitudes interconnectées. À la fin de chaque tour (lorsque le paquet de plantes est vidé), une carte visiteur animal sera gagnée par le joueur dont les plantes correspondent le mieux aux préférences d'habitat du visiteur (plus de fleurs / fruits / etc).

Le jeu se termine lorsque tous les visiteurs ont trouvé un foyer. La forêt de chaque joueur est notée en fonction de la valeur de ses plantes et des visiteurs qu'il accueille.
