Cascadia: Landmarks

Before this expansion Cascadia felt like a great classic euro. With the expansion it is pushed slightly ahead to now be a favorite of the gaming group. It's that little bit of extra variance of strategy, plus the beauty of the wooden tokens, that is a nice push to the game. The flavor and mechanics feel just right. Also being able to support up to 6 players is excellent for a game that's so easy to teach and play.

Серьёзно, я все цели заиграла, в любых комбинациях, и теперь у меня очень очень много новых целей дааааааа Сами ориентиры превосходны и дополнительные очки тоже. Хочу блокнот для подсчёта очков, потому что предыдущий закончился и новый тоже уже заканчивается)))

L'extension fait passer le jeu dans le Top 10 définitif. Rend le jeu moins familial, mais elle peut être enlevée facilement (module paysage) en gardant certains bons côtés (nouveaux animaux, tuiles, mode 6 joueurs). Les paysages sont une addition simple mais terriblement efficace pour rendre le jeu beaucoup plus tactique avec peu de nouvelles règles.

Exactly what was needed to make the best and most relaxing game back to the table. Loved Cascadia without this expansion, but with it makes the game a bit more of a brain burner for scoring options. I for-see in some future playing with or without the landmarks included and still be totally happy adding the extra tiles are animal scoring cards. A very versatile expansion. Bravo designers! This is a must have expansion for all Cascadia owners out there.

This is a perfect expansion. It's clear a lot of thought was put into it and there is a ton of value here. I really appreciate that the components don't need to be separated to play the original version again. I really appreciate the 5-6 player support, even if playing without the landmarks. The landmarks mechanism makes sense and makes matching biomes more interesting and engaging.
