Each of the five new scenarios are expanded to add two players. This means more fishing grounds, river tiles, a second oasis, second castle hex, and more/alternate trade hexes. These extra hexes and supplies is worth the money. Some scenarios are as good as, or even better than, the 3-4 player game. Most transition well to the larger game.
Adds to over all play time, slowing the game down and every extra expansion compounds setup and tear down time. Eventually grates on you after multiple play throughs.
The Fishermen of Catan and Harbor Master expansions included in this set are must have/use in my opinion. I haven't played any of the rest of it.
Allows the "Traders & Barbarians"-scenarios to be played with up to six players, therefore a welcome expansion if you regularely play with a larger group.
This just adds a few more pieces and some rule changes. IT's irritating how expensive it is for the few pieces you get, but it is a must own if you have the original.
