Monumental Duel Exploration

Excellent game and very interesting like the other games of this range. The "1" rating are so childish and ridiculous. And by the way, I received my KS African Empire and Funforge kept his words despite a so long delay to deliver, without making us paid more than the initial amount

Played the game at ESSEN SPIEL and really enjoyed the slow deck building element and the strong asymmetric factions and their respective card plays. A litte longer than I hoped for in my first game, but could go down as you get to know it better. Rulebook is okay, iconography has some quirks. But the duel that I had with a friend of mine was rather epic. Will play again.

This $26 CAD box is 90% of the full game which cost $300 CAD for a bloat full of minis. I have rated this half a point higher than the base game!

Great little card game that has been largely dismissed and or downvoted for some odd reason, it has a surprising amount of meat to it. Can now be played by up to 4 players with my little guide in the files section as long as you own at least 2 of the 3 sets (exploration, trade, espionage). It plays like the previous game, but gets rid of the map. Considering I found the map and it's mechanics to be largely superfluous and dragged out the previous game I don't miss it at all and would rather play this game instead as I like the way the card mechanics work. It could do with more cards though.

Great duel that feels much like 7 wonders while offering a bit more. Aside from the provinces the only interaction is the race for turn order.
