Revenant

With Revenant, you can expect an epic competitive worker-placement strategy game in the Voidfall universe - but completely standalone and without needing to know the other game. You take on the role of rival admirals of a besieged star fleet in the distant future, whose mission is nothing less than to save humanity's last hope. In a desperate race for resources, political power, and survival, you must assign crew, coordinate ships, fight enemies, and cleverly gain influence over the great houses of the fallen empire, while the constant pressure from outside - due to attacks from the Voidborn - increases.
