I've always wanted a mall expansion for this game! I love games like Mall of horror, Maul of America ( and chopping mall) and horror films like dawn of the dead. This expansion just seemed like a natural progression to me. Very fun! The air ducts add a neat mechanic to the game.
This is a must have expansion for Zombies!!! Let's face it, zombies just aren't the same without a mall for them to frequent. The new airduct movement rules add an element of strategy. The best part, is you can play a shorter game with just the Mall tiles, or add them to your Zombies!!! cityscape for a larger game. I rated this higher than the original set, just because of the theme and variety that this set lends itself to.
Just as good as Zombies 1, if not better as it is shorter! I tried playing Zombies 1 & 3 together but it doesn't work well, better to play on its own or use one of the scenarios available at the manufacturers website.
The 1st version's artwork is darker which, for a mall during a zombie apocalypse, suits me... Twilight Mall at night... or maybe even during the day, given that a lot of malls don't have exterior windows, may be a great place to hang out...
Another expansion to the incredibly fun game Zombies!!! Once again the artwork is beautiful. My only critisism is that the packaging is too big for what inside. Maybe they should have included a few extra zombies. You can never have too many zombies. The game itself is very cool and has extra scenario ideas.
