Bargain Quest

Bargain Quest is a game that takes standard fantasy tropes and approaches it in a unique way: you're not the heroes saving the village. You're arming them. It's fun, but sometimes the randomness can seem somewhat unfair. I own all of the expansions and definitely recommend it.

A great game that is a good balance of complexity and general fun. I was a Kickstarter backer and am very happy that I had picked up this game.

I remember watching this campaign from the start and being really excited for it from the artwork. I've found the campaign organisers to be extremely helpful and the backer service when I had questions was amazing. I would really recommend this game to anyone, it's a unique idea that's been implemented really well. You and up to 5 other players are all working together and against each other to see who can make the most money and victory stars by enticing heroes into your shop before aggressively selling them everything you own to go off and fight the bad guys. I love the artwork, I love the theme and I love the execution, go and buy it!

Bargain Quest is my favorite game right now, and I think I will always enjoy playing it. It has a super cool theme (running an RPG item shop) and fun mechanics that never get old (drafting, combat, strategy). It has the depth that appeals to more experienced players, but it's also easy enough to teach newer players. It's fun with 2 people and it can play with up to 6. It's such a flexible game for all of your board game night needs. To top it all off, the art is so beautiful and diverse. The cards and the shop boards are like pieces of art. My only regret is that I didn't buy the deluxe version on Kickstarter.

This game is delightful, thoughtful, fun, and funny! Replay-ability suffers a bit though. After a while, you get bored of the base game item cards, so expansions are a must-buy.
