Concordia: Balearica / Cyprus

On the first look it's just a map pack. Increases variety, but nothing else. However it also contains the fish market module! It's design is very clever, it's inclusion alone can keep your Concordia experience fresh after many plays, because it provides a lot of opportunities to create bombastic combos! It's sooo satisfying!

At some point expansions start to feel superfluous and tacked on- obscuring what once made the base game fun. Concordia has not reached that point. The new Fish Market adds satisfying choices without clouding the original game’s greatness. It is still terrific even when Salsa is also included. If you are a veteran Concordia player, this is essential.

The Fish Market mini-expansion feels like it is essential - can't see playing Concordia without it again (and in general I dislike expansions - but this is an elegant way of adding another decision point to the game). Balearic Map is fun for 2p and feels different enough to be worth it.

We rarely play Concordia without the fish market, and love the Balearica map with sea-bridges to move land colonists. It's fun to make it a rush-race with few cities and more players. The fish market is a joy with plotting action-combos for your turns.

The best map made so far. You reallly need to spread out in this map. Really good especially combined with the Fish Market. Fish market expansion really opens up new options and strategies. If I don't use the Forum tiles, I'll always add in the Fish Market.
