Flotsam Fight

I find this to be a really interesting game despite the randomness. I feel like there has to be some 'best' strategy, but I am not sure what it is. I really enjoy dropping down a 95 on a slot and listening to my friends rant at me, and I also enjoy when someone does it back to me and I get a chance to give them a hard time. I am not sure how often this will really hit the table, but I look forward to it when it does happen.

Ladder-climbing card game that makes for a great filler game. I used to play a lot of card games with my parents so this was right up my alley. Players attempt to get rid of all their cards by placing them by boats. The twists are that you can only place in boats that you card is a multiple of and there only a certain number of boats can be used. Has the potential to get very mean at lower player counts but a lot of fun if you like this genre. Definitely one of my favorite Oink offerings.

It’s very interesting decision how to choose a card to ensure that nobody will be able to screw you or screw someone itself. Love that! On the bad side your result is sometimes very dependent on the initial draw - in one of the rounds I had 3, 6, 9 and a few more cards which only divisor in the game was 3 and I don’t know how to win with hand like that (maybe some non-obvious strategy exists though). Also there is a draft variant, want to try it someday.

Surprisingly good game. To win you need good card management and the ability to thwart your opponent's plans. The rules regarding the two-card penalty are not clearly written.

A climbing card game... play cards to a number of stacks equal to the number of players, the card has to be higher than the previously played card and it has to be divisible by the stack number, the stacks used for the round are determined by the first card played to each... if everyone but one player passes, wipe the stacks and keep playing... if someone goes out, they get 2 points, everybody else compares their highest remaining card in hand, the lowest of those gets 1 point and the highest gets -1 point (for being greedy)… great simple card game!...
