this is a perfect game. it's insanely fun even when everyone's out to get me. but do play with people who are willing to accept defeat. the card drafting is unique, it's fun how much variety in storytelling can arise from just a few simple cards. add in table talk and temporary alliances, it becomes an incredible back and forth trying to fulfill such simple objectives. when this game is firing on all cylinders, there's nothing that can beat the tension and atmosphere between everyone.

Игра на контроль территорий, но она достаточно абстрактна. В игре много места для случайности, из-за карт эпоса, но она впечатляет своей способностью порождать необычные ситуации и заставлять искать интересные решения. И это при том, что правила очень лаконичны. Супер игра!

Kingslaying in the best possible way. The small, but diverse group of action cards allows for preparation in anticipation of your opponents' wants and not wants, in a relatively easy to memorize set of actions. The territory cards are a great incentive to opening up the map and provide high variance but controllable game states given you plan your moves right. I quite enjoy the stop the leader end game, where you are all trying to come up with the cleverest way to end up with a win condition at the beginning of the round.
