Feels like Risk but with a better gameplay set up. Encourages aggressive tactics but also gives value to purposeful retreats and losses that can bring you victory long term. With the pyramids and tiles mechanics, no two games end up being alike.

+ Player interaction is always possible. + You start the same but you end up totally different depending on the tiles you buy. + Awesome minis + Cool setting (Ancient Egypt) with a fantasy touch. + Interesting battle mechanic. - I don't like that for lower player counts you ignore part of the board. - There can be king making issues.

Most like game in war games. The technology to get to build your own engine, the powerful gods you get, and exciting combats with opponents, definetly a good choice in 5 players, it would be a war!!!!! blood and sand version is even better! With more technology then the original, with the bool of dead expansion is even better and more fun and tension to play!

This is one of my favourite games, which seems really well balanced and provides lots of reasons to replay it. I love the way it really rewards and does not punish battles, that you can quickly bounce back from a defeat, and that buying upgrades makes your army feel more unique over the course of the game.

Still am amazing asymmetric ancient Egyptian themed war game. Power up your army, gain unique special abilities, and score mainly by being aggressive against other players.
