Excellent trick taking game. Beautiful production, rules all seem to work together, all the makings of a classic.

This takes a couple plays to get it down but then it's an amazing trick-taking game

This reminds me some of Nokosu Dice, in the sense that you have dice that are also part of your hand. There is no bidding here, but the multitude of trump suits (each suit is trumped by one other) plus the ability to really control when you are going to play cards by dodging them with your X's makes for a very strategic game. Even more so, the high cards are negative points and the low cards are where you earn points, so every trick counts and every decision is important. Delightful tension in this one - it's a really good trick taker!

“Breezy plus” — Zee Garcia Greatly enjoyed my 1st play at 3 players. Good amount of flexibility with the card play. Love the scoring system and push your luck nature of Xs. Strategy and tactics are opaque in just the right way to keep me engaged with the decision space the whole time (when to use your Xs, what dice to take, when use the dice). I do like weird trick takers, so your results may vary.

Very nice looking trick-taker with cards and dice. I love the art and the flow of the game. It clicks with me. Feels less seriously analytical than Nokosu Dice but still a lot to think about. A couple of the suits are hard to distinguish at a glance for colorblind me, but still I like it enough to persevere. I love it and am always happy to play although some of my game group seriously disagree and bounced off it hard. They are wrong, obviously.
