The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-Earth – Allies

I've gotten more and more skeptical of the value of expansions for games, but gotta say, this one works perfectly, with zero clunk and lots of excitement. The theming is pitch-perfect, especially Lobelia Sackville-Baggins!

A thematic expansion that introduces iconic allies to bolster your fellowship. Deepens gameplay while staying faithful to Tolkien’s lore.

This is the best expansion I have ever bought. Adds a lot of strategic depth and much needed asymmetry to the game while even shortens the game! What a marvellous design!

Great transition from symmetrical gameplay to asymmetrical gameplay that adds complexity and changes the risk and reward of revealing cards. Best expansion I’ve ever tried for a duel game and I’ve played nearly all of them (7wd, etc)
