Transformers Deck-Building Game

This game is perfection for me, I love gen 1 transformers so when I got this for Christmas 3 years ago I had to play it right away, and each time it's been amazing

One of the best deckbuilding games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. Obviously, those that are into the theme will really like this, but more than that it is just a really well done game. Stands out in a genre that has a lot of very similar-feeling games. The spatial dynamic of moving around the board to discover the cards you buy/fight, makes it feel very different from most other deckbuilding games. The competitive and cooperative modes play largely with the same ruleset, but the subtle differences inherent in competitive vs. cooperative create different dynamics between the two. Also plays very well as a solo game with a quick set up, play and tear down.

Auf dem gleichen Level wie Power Rangers Deck Building Game. Funktioniert grundsätzlich genauso wie ein normaler Deck Builder und hat mit der Exploration Funktion und dem einfachen hin- und herflippen seines Helden erfrischende Mechaniken.

My first deck-building game. Have only played solo. I'm partial to the theme of Transformers, so I might enjoy this more than others, but I really enjoy the tension as the game progresses. When I win, I usually only squeak out a victory, and it feels like a real accomplishment.

This is a perfect game for me, personally (it may be a miss for others). It's quick to set up, rules are straightforward, and plays in about an hour (solo). Throw in the theme and artwork of my favorite childhood IP, and this is elevated further. Base game is fun, and am looking forward to seeing the other transformers and cards (different damage types especially) in some of the expansions.
