Great game! The trick taking is smooth and decisions are always variable turn to turn. Keeps you thinking throughout and I love it.

A great 3 or 4 player trick taker with a must not follow mechanism, trick predictions (changeable mid game) and bonuses for the lowest card played each trick
Good game, this one. I had my first game of it a few nights ago and all four of us enjoyed it immensely. Making gold's easy peasy in Aurum, if only it was like that in real life... :(
8.5 - 1 play, 4 players - A top notch trick taker! I love must-not-follow mechanisms, and this feels like an advanced Potato Man. The scoring system feels well designed, and the balance between taking tricks and gold is perfect. Knowing when to use your gold to trump is also a great decision. All in all, very thinky, the right amount of control, but also can have fun swings. I like that the bidding is not too punishing. The team dynamic is also good fun! 9.0 - 4 plays - I really love this game. Nearly every play provides an interesting decision (except playing 2nd when you can match the lead). Making your bid is very satisfying. The unexpected ending are also exciting.
A very clever twist on trick taking. Love that low card gets gold which has multiple uses: trump, exchange your bid, or pure points. Addicting (and haven’t even tried partners yet).
