Description
The first edition is going to enter into the italian market the first quarter of 2012. There will be a starter pack and two expansion pack, named respectively "Accademia" and "Armeria".
What you will find into those boxes:
Starter pack: all the races and classes, 48 flash/equipement/helper cards from first edition, all the 33 amulets, 20 season cards, 2 dices, rule book.
Accademia: 162 Flash cards (54x3), 36 Spells (12x3), 57 Helpers (19x3). That means all the Flash, Spell, Helper cards in 3x.
Armeria: 85 Equipments (85x3). That means all the Equipment cards in 3x.
In this game you are a Hero. There are lots of Heroes in Warage: in the 1° Ed. you could be a Elf, Human, Orc, Angel, Triton or a Dwarf (race card) and you can chose to be a Fighter, Paladin or Mage (class card), for a total of 18 race/class combination.
As a Hero, you can count on your special abilities and equipments to win a battle. So you try to build a deck with at least 48 Flash, Spells, Helpers and Equipments cards. Since all the players own the same cards, you can win because you've selected a better strategy. It's like to play Chess: the best player will win, chance does not count anymore.
The rules will be translated in english soon, and so will be the game itself.
Warage also contains multi-player rules, to play in "Guilds" and so on.
