Sei arrivato con la tua squadra di ricerca nel ghiaccio eterno dell Antartide. Ma questo e solo l inizio di una serie di emozionanti spedizioni in questa era alternativa. I vostri obiettivi sono chiari: create una rete altamente efficiente di stazioni, esplorate l ambiente spietato e siate i primi a raggiungere il sito di impatto del misterioso meteorite. Usate le risorse scarse con la vostra conoscenza tecnologica per equipaggiarvi per le prossime spedizioni e realizzare progetti scientifici innovativi. Anche a temperature ben sotto lo zero dovete mantenere la calma. In questo paesaggio tempestoso, soppesare rischio e audacia decide trionfo o rovina. I playtested this game a lot and I cannot recommend it enough. It is deep, while remaining relatively streamlined. It also has an addictive quality to its, especially thanks to its push-your-luck and deckbluiding combination.
Played so many versions of this game over the last years. A game where you can really see the influences of both Prinz and Pfister. Each designer with his own sensitivities and solutions. The spatial permanent worker placement that forms the base for your stations is sooo COOL. Exactly the amount of interaction I look for in such a heavy euro. Maybe even a metaphor that you need many people working closely together to build something special (like this game).
I playtested this a lot. 6 years in making. A new Pfister/Prinz. What else to say.
