The perfect expansion. It's simple, has a small footprint, and adds so much to the game. It actually accelerates the game and makes it more fun in the process. Amazing!

A great mini expansion to accompany the titans exp. Provides more colour to the board, makes setup more strategical and tense as you can start the game with a monument if you play it right, speeds up the game slightly and gives other players more of an incentive to attack other islands that don't contain metropolis'. It's also interesting when you come across combos of monuments that work well together. It barely increases the complexity at all, extremely simple to grasp

I now include the monuments expansion in every game, but it can't help but feel like an unnecessary addition. It encourages players to build early and the 3D buildings look great and add new abilities to the game. Only one to get if Cyclades is one of your favourite games, like it is mine.
