For me, this is the best Arkham/Cthulhu game ever made, and it’s been an evergreen since its release. It comes to the table between 5 and 10 times a year, and it’s always an absolute blast, regardless of who I play it with. We always stick to the important rule that four investigators are a must, even with two or three players. While AH LCH and the board felt too narrow and cramped for me, Eldritch gives me plenty of room and a solid framework for crazy swings and wild moments. It’s a box full of puppets. I highly recommend it!

Hands down my favourite game to this day (we bought it 5 years ago). I love the overall theme, the storycards and the replayability. However, I would suggest to play it as 2 players playing with 2-2 characters. Makes the game even more fun when you feel like you can have a bigger impact.
This will always be special to me. It's weirdly balanced (harder at odd player counts) and often very random. The gameplay isn't really that deep and it can last a long time. Just on gameplay I would not rate this higher than 6. But it is the greatest emergent storytelling game I have played. To enjoy this game you have to lean into that by embracing the randomness, role playing a bit and just going with the flow. But it's well worth it if you do.
What I consider a heavy co-op game, yet still not too bad when teaching it to other as long as one person knows how to play, since it's co-op. My wife and I and a rotating pair of friends (more than 4p just takes too long) have played nearly 20 times now. We have about a 50% win/loss. Very rewarding when you win.
I own this and all of its expansions. My home tabletop group (we normally do RPGs like D&D, but play board games when some people are out) has been playing this regularly for a decade+. I have never played a game that had a more immersive Lovecraftian vibe. It's brutal, can be frustrating, but I keep coming back to it time and again.
