A Wild Venture is a fast strategic game for 2 players where you not only build engines... you also dismantle them. In this quirky world, you share a deck of cards full of quirky characters, clever combos, and twists. Each turn, you rush to build powerful synergies, only to dismantle them at the right moment. Cards don't last forever, but only those used to the fullest count for points: timing is everything.
The game includes 108 unique cards, a double-sided adventure board, and two themed sets for ongoing variety.

amazing solo game, also plays 2. adorable art. pulls in lots of different mechanics in a very unique way, flows incredibly well. easy to play once you understand the rules. tableau builder. set collection. travel along a map to collect bonuses. build out your community with creatures, gear and buildings. unique scoring goals
The game is very cute, with lots of references, all sorts of fun little things, and memes, while also having great potential for various combinations, multi‑step schemes, and building complex combos. The game is pleasant, with a certain degree of depth, and in 40 minutes you can really enjoy the chains of effects you can set up on your board, but you practically don’t interact with your opponent at all. That’s a downside for a duel. In expansions, you’d like to see more interaction. Otherwise, the game is amazing.
I love this game; the cards are super funny and always make me laugh. The mechanic and combos with cards are compelling, but not complicated. The gameplay time is balanced and reflects the description. I am really looking forward to further expansions and developments
Super interesting mechanics. Engine building where getting rid of pieces is how you score provides some extra flavor, you have to stay on your toes and adapt to the cards you draw. The game deserves the rating on its own, but as a bonus the publisher is amazing and provides great customer service!
It's honestly perfect for what it is. It's adorable, it's crunchy, it's satisfying and has so many paths to victory. The combos you can make are so much fun to pull off! It's one of my new favourite two player games. Would love for there to be some expansions that add new decks.
