Splendor meets Mancala. This is a really lean and clean mandala system with some fun tweaks that make scoring interesting. I don't love the conflict cards otherwise it would probably be a 10.

In Aiye the collective is stronger than the individual: in the civilization of Aiye, harmony among the people generates a strong and powerful society. With the help of natural elements, leaders harness the power of the sun and moon to guide their civilization toward its own destiny.
Aiye reimagines one of the oldest mechanisms in board games, mancala: each turn players sow seeds along a row of card columns, activating the abilities of the last sown column. During the game, columns expand and improve, building a personal mancala made of possibilities and combinations. Victory goes to those who best manage cards and seeding, leading the community toward a luminous future.

This is an exceptionally clever game that does some truly innovative things in how it connects different mechanics, and a brilliant production that comes together to feel like a game actually inspired by Africa's past and future.

Nice tableau building with a mancala mechanic that allows you to trigger your engine. Can be a little bit brain burner for people who try to optimize the best action possible.
