Fantastic game. So tight, so many combos, which feel really satisfying in the the end. Best game of Thomas Spitzer so far.

Outstanding game with a lovely tension. Played at 2, 3 and 4 players and would absolutely recommend it. Kölsch expansion included
Better then Viticulture! We love it! Super balanced and many options for your brain to work. The graphic fits the theme and the material is really good quality. We drink the beer we brew while playing to make it even more a beer eurogame. 10 points!
First impressions were great for this one! Everything was linked perfectly. We played a 4 players game under 3 hours without looking at the rules or player aid! My own negative point on this is that the publisher doesn't give a .... about other language speaking gamers and prefers to sell this mainly for the German market! I know there are files on bgg,but if a pay for a game I am not ready to spend half a day on printing, sleeving and stuff like that. On the other hand if you have an English cards pack to sell at Spiel I would gladly pay for that and get the game! Just saying.....
An overlooked gem that improves on viticulture: reduced card luck, more interesting mechanics e.g. multi-use cards. Points are gained mainly through contracts but there are many ways players can reach their goals; no player is left behind or feels out of the game early (e.g. if I am left behind in beer production speed, I can switch focus on beer type variety etc.). Expansion (bier boom) modules increase decision space, making the game more thinky. Pick this if you want a more cutthroat, thinky experience; pick viticulture if you prefer it more relaxed and accessible.
