CAGONES
CAGONES is a deduction and bluff game where you must remember how many fish the polar bear and rabbit have eaten and how many times they've defecated. Each turn you feed the animals, challenge opponents, and try to read who's lying. The game combines memory, logic, and intuition: can you keep track amid all the additions and subtractions of food? Perfect for 2 to 6 players at the table.
On an improbable occasion, a polar bear and a white rabbit were doing their business side by side. As they looked at each other and strained, the bear wanted to know something about the rabbit. A question whose answer would change the rabbit's life forever.
"Hey, rabbit," he said, "doesn't it bother you to get your white fur dirty with poop?" The rabbit replied smiling: "No, it doesn't bother me." Then the bear grabbed the rabbit and used it to wipe its butt.
CAGONES is a game where you will repeatedly ask yourself whether what you clearly remember is true or not, and you can only hope that no one challenges you so you can find out. Your goal is to get rid of all your cards, and to do so you will have to feed a polar bear and a rabbit and remember how much they ate… and pooped.
On your turn you can play a certain number of fish cards on the polar bear. You can make him poop those fish or challenge someone to guess how many fish he ate, but be careful: if that person has a challenge card, they can respond to you. When the polar bear goes to sleep, you will have to turn all the cards in your hand to feed the rabbit, which has a smaller stomach and sometimes eats half. Of course, when the rabbit goes to sleep, you will have to feed the bear again. Does anyone remember how many fish went to sleep? Or how much it pooped? (This interests the fly.)
Keep in mind that if anyone feeds an animal when it can't eat anymore (5 for the bear and 3 for the rabbit), or if it poops food it doesn't have, anyone can report it by saying "It's wrong." It is then verified. If it really was wrong, the player who reported it takes a card from whoever made the mistake. Otherwise, whoever reported it takes a card from that person.
If all the adding and subtracting of food confuses you… you can always make them throw it all up and start again, but it will be easy for everyone, not just you. It continues this way until a player runs out of cards.
