Description Description
Gespenwald is an adventure set in a ghostly forest sustained by a undead mycelium, an underground network of fungus from another realm. The forest materialises for only one night per year, and must be explored before dawn to avoid becoming stuck there for the next year. Gespenwald is intended to be played tabletop roleplaying game Cairn, but can easily be played with Into the Odd or any of its derivatives, adapted for other OSR games, or, like the author's previous publication Mostly Harmless Meetings, read simply as a piece of imaginative Oulipian fiction, if that's more your bag.
