Description
In this third major expansion for the prize-winning Carcassonne, we move into the realm of fantasy. The land around Carcassonne is being visited by a dragon, making life very difficult for the followers. Brave heroes venture forth to face the danger, but without the aid of the fairies, their chances are not good. In the city, the princess seeks help from the knights, and farmers build secret passages to move about undetected by the dragon. Contents: 30 new tiles with dragon nests, volcanoes, magic gates, and princesses; 1 large wooden dragon; 1 wooden fairy. Contrary to original reports, there are no princess figures in The Princess & the Dragon. Part of the Carcassonne series.

Although I'd like to have a French version of this one and I prefer the old design, any version will do. It is presently the only large extension I'm missing (except for Catapults which I'm not interested in).
In Carcassonne Bin. We play this BIG. I have 2 base games and every expansion I could get my hands on. Even sent away to Germany for a Spielbox Magazine with the Plague expansion. WE LOVE THIS GAME!! We move furniture and play on the floor. We play all of it at the same time. ALL OF IT. We have a knapsack that we toss all the tiles into. We sprawl the map all over the place. Full games can take hours and scoring the farms at the end is a total headache but we LOVE THIS GAME!! We don't bother separating the expansions afterwards because we know we are going to play the whole thing the next time anyway.
Pitiless, meeple-stomping (burning?), fun expansion. I love it. Wife detests it.
The best Carcassonne expansion ever!!! :) Bu remember not to "eat" your wife's meepels with the dragon... or you will face the real Dragon ;)
CAUTION! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It contains small parts which could be swallowed or inhaled.
