As an expansion it's perfect. Integration into the base game is flawless. Just be ready for much longer games.

I really feel like you should play Catan with this expansion. It makes the game so much better. The original game is really claustrophobic to me, maybe that is the point?
Mandatory for a 4 Player Game to have more Options because of a a bigger Map that does not restrict you so much!
Makes Catan better being less claustrophobic and less tight in resources, with more options to commerce. Total must need for Catan fans, specially nowadays when game groups are having a usual fifth player.
This is a must for me. It adds more choices for each player and you don’t get “trapped” easily.
CAUTION! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It contains small parts which could be swallowed or inhaled.
