Now alone and armed only with his technical tools and skills, Isaac rushes to find Nicole as the nightmare mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura unfolds. Trapped with hostile creatures called necromorphs, Isaac fights for survival not only against the growing horrors of the ship but also against his deteriorating sanity.
