Entropy (Board&Dice)
In Entropy, you become a scientist who must prove your ability to create solar systems and bring life to planets. Play with 1-4 players and see who will have the most victory points at the end of the game.
For eons, entropy has been an unstoppable force of nature. Then humanity evolved to understand it, harness it, and even bend it to its will. You have dedicated your life to learning how to shape the very mechanisms of the universe according to your will… or rather, according to the will of your people. You are about to become a scientist, a member of the most revered caste.
Now the time has come for the final exam. You must demonstrate that you can create new solar systems, birth stars, shape a variety of biomes, and finally bring life to the planets. It may only be a simulation, and there are limits to what you can do: this is science, not magic.
And you are not alone. Throughout the complex, other apprentices are entering their chambers and starting the same test. Only one will rise to join the caste. This is your moment of truth.
Entropy is played over a variable number of rounds. On each turn, you must move your Scientist 1 to 3 spaces clockwise along the main board. You must end your movement on an Action space inside the main board or on an Action tile's outer space, and resolve it. You will build Solar Systems with Stars, Planets, and Asteroids, then fill them with Life by playing cards. You can also gain various special abilities by adding Biomes and upgrading your Console.
The end of the game is triggered when 2 of the 6 Main Objectives have been completed. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game wins.
