Once again, the World-Tree opens its gateways and the supernatural awakens. But this time it doesn't just mark the beginning of a new era. With the dawn of a new era, magic that was once believed to be lost flows through the land via the Crystal Path, drawing in new clans from far and wide. There is much to discover but the goal remains the same: Fight to secure a place on the magical throne!
This expansion to the base game Evenfall contains two new clans, a Crystal Path and many new Rituals, Specialists and Places of Power to explore. With a new catalyst - the crystal - you will unveil a new form of magic. Parts of this expansion can be modularly integrated into the base game.

Solid expansion! New cards add a lot of variety and the new drafting mechanism is a clever way to mitigate luck of the draw from a larger deck of cards. The crystal path is a good addition that isn't overwrought (as expansions tend to be). The cats are by far the best component I have seen for ages, we laughed a lot! I doubt I'll ever play without the expansion again, even though the teach becomes a touch trickier.

Sehr gute Erweiterung. Nicht zuviel und nicht zu wenig. Es erweitert das Spiel auf nicht zu penetrante Weise durch neue Karten, 2 neue Fraktionen, variable Belohnungen bei Kämpfen, einen Katalysator mit Wissen und Katzen, welche die Hexen verbessern. Hinzu kommt eine offene Kartenauslage, wodurch die Glückskomponente verringert wird.

Nice game. Every play feels different because of the card variety, so you end up building a new strategy each time. The area control is a nice touch, and there are lots of cool card combinations. I also tried the path but it felt pretty hard to maximize, though I’ve only played it once. I’d like a few more plays before giving a full review.
