There is also a new worker location and a brand new deck of cards. Bonuses at the end of the explorer tracks are now replaced with variable scoring objectives, and there are additional faction bonuses for reaching the end of the explorer tracks first. Additionally, each round will have a unique scoring objective. Will you play the short game and aim for the current objective, or plan ahead and try to score big later in the game? Explorers of Navoria also comes with all the components needed to play the game with five players. PLUS it now has a solo campaign, that has three difficulty levels and variable side missions, making each solo game highly repayable.

This is a must have expansion for Explorers of Navoria. There are 3 main modules: The Forgotten Lands Module (New collector cards, exploration bonus tiles, skills and contracts, round goal cards and species tokens), the the Solo Module and the 5th Player Module (If playing with the 5th player, the Forgotten Lands module must be used). I've played through the Solo mode, which is a 5 chapter campaign and I really enjoyed it. It gives 5 slightly different ways to play Explorers of Navoria allowing one to achieve each chapters goal. The main module is a great enhancement of the base game and I don't see me playing Explorers of Navoria without it.

Some nice modular additions that I would never play without, along with a decent solo campaign. However, some abilities are unbalanced and the rulebook is crippled with typos. An errata is in order.

OMG The base game plays very smooth, but this expansions gives you more depth and more ways to move and score even more points. It has skill cards for asymmetry, goal cards for extra points, a fifth player, a fifthe deck & location and a solo mode. The solo mode comes with 5 stand alone chapters and 3 different difficulty levels.

At first I thought this was a relatively straight forward game. But there are quite a few choices available at each point. So far I have enjoyed it, but time will tell if the choices are still interesting after multiple plays.
