Description Description
Grove is the citrusy sequel to the award winning Orchard 9 card solitaire game. Its 18 cards feature orange, lemon and lime trees and a new 'wild card' element, glades. These open spaces without trees, combined with a new scoring mechanic, offer more ways and opportunities to increase your harvest and create a greater variety of gameplay and strategies compared to Orchard. You'll also find a cheeky squirrel, who can either help or hinder your fruit picking, as well as a wheelbarrow - useful if you manage to get an extra large haul. The card backs feature recipe challenges with various scoring conditions and target scores. These provide a win/lose condition (as an alternative to the standard game's ‘beat your score’) for those that prefer it - and add even more variety to the game.

One of the most simple & addictive solo game out there. Components are top notch (custom dice, plastic cards) and the game can be played everywhere (small box, small table presence). Replayability is already high when playing the "classic" game, but when using the recipes (2 different goal per game), it adds another very interesting challenge. Highly recommended.

Great game for anyone and everyone. Easy to pick up and play. It has 2 games in one, the standard 9 card solitaire and the recipe challenge for both added depth and challenge, which is totally optional. Ive been enjoying the standard game for months! I love this game so much it is what encouraged me to make a profile here on BGG, just to tell the world how great this game is.

This is one of my top 5 solo games. Quick to setup and play with different ways to play, one as a score attack and the other with some challenges and goals. Plastic cards make this waterproof too, just overall a must have for any solo game collection. Good fun!

Excellent solo game! Fun and bright design, sturdy plastic cards (not sure why they are plastic, but I love it), great components and a compact box size that easily fits into the pocket of my backpack, so I can just bring it with me everywhere. Playtime is only 10 minutes, but it is very thinky, you really have to think through where you are gonna place your cards which I love. The recipes add to it a lot as well, I mostly play with them, the replayability is great, especially with these recipes that are just the back of the cards.
