This game is amazing. It's truly an achievement in cooperative games. I enjoy the way all the deduction mechanics merge together with the survival, spells, and artifacts to create an immersive experience. Can't wait to play it again.

Elite Investigation mechanics, tension driving push your luck bag pulls and so many things happening on the train. Plus a vampire. Slow to the table setup, and heavy mechanics to master. Wish it had some dice rolling. This train ride is an amazing night of gaming. If you love the vibes of Call of Cthulhu and the mechanics of Nemesis.
There is a lot going on in this this game, but once you play a few rounds you quickly pick it up. The Rulebook is very well done and iconography is intuitive. Turns go by at a good pace and the theme is excellent. I really enjoyed the push your luck and deduction aspect of the game. Definitely glad I backed the game. Only drawback is the train is small for my fat fingers, but I'll just have to manage.
[developer rating] But as additional context, I’ve been playing this game at various stages of development for over two years. I’ve watched people play it countless times, and after all that, I’m still eager to play it, explain it, and interact with it in any way I can. The authors did a superb job, and this has been my greatest adventure in the board game industry so far... ❤️
Pledged VIP Passenger; amazingly intricate mechanics that quickly become second nature and allow the game to really shine. There are several ways to play and randomize the content, so that every game feels like a new experience, even more so when you acquire the Investigators Unveiled and New Monstrosities expansions.
